Name: Elisabeth Carolan Birthday: November 24th 1980 Years pro: 6 years Mini-bio: Beth always wanted to be a pro-wrestler, her for the sport led her to join her high school wrestling team, she became the first female varsity wrestler in her school's history. During college she continued wrestling, until she began training with the All Knighters. She later made her pro-wrestling debut in 2000 taking on Alexis Laree. Beth wrestled throughout America and Canada, and in 2003 relocated to Louisville (OVW). In October 2005 Beth received a WWE developmental contract. In May 2006 Beth debuted on WWE Raw attacking Mickie James, but just 5 weeks later, Beth broke her jaw during a match with Victoria. After over a year of waiting in OVW, Beth finally returned to Raw on July 9th 2007, teaming with Melina and Jillian. At Summerslam 2007 Beth earned a title shot against Candice Michelle, and despite a loss at Unforgiven, beth defeated Candice for the title at No Mercy.

In a display of dominance, Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix defeated Candice Michelle with a Glam Slam to retain her gold. Ever since The Glamazon captured the title from Mickie James at SummerSlam, she has dominated both her opponents and the opponents of her boyfriend, Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella.
Tonight, Marella intervened, preventing a potential pinfall. But, he paid for it with a hard-hitting kick from Candice. Although Marella’s help allowed Phoenix to escape the near pinfall, it proved to be a distraction to The Glamazon. But, not for long. As the match continued, The Glamazon mounted an offense that Candice could not stop.

WWE taped tonight’s edition of Raw last night, to give the wrestlers some time off, before they go on a huge overseas tour next week.
Highlight below for spoiler’s of tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw:
* Randy Orton cut a promo and ripped on all the Raw champions, he said Beth & Santino were acting like teenagers & that Beth is embarrassing herself and he could beat Santino.
* Candice Michelle, Mickie James, & Kelly Kelly b. WWE Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea, & Jillian Hall when Candice pinned Beth Phoenix. Before the match Beth addressed Randy Orton insulting her during the opening segment. I was told that Candice showed some ring rust and the finish was botched. Candace made her return and then her and Beth proceed to botch the ending three times. I’m not kidding. It looked awful as Candace appeared to be trying out a new move, but kept failing. Eventually, Candace won via rollup. Awful, will need to be edited.
Surprisingly, Beth didn’t appear with Santino according to various reports.

Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James is up. They do the “big fight” style introductions with both in the ring. Title change on Raw as Mickie becomes the new champion and starts crying with joy. Maria and Ashley come out to congratulate her.
Okay, after reading about 10 different reports, we have it confirmed that it in fact was not Beth on Smackdown, which makes sense, I won’t spoil for people who don’t want to know, but if you do want to know who it was on Smackdown, you can read the comments for this post, as the speculation and confirmation was all discussed there.

Melina (with Beth Phoenix) pinned Mickie James. After the match, Phoenix told Candice Michelle and Maria to pay attention because this is their future at WrestleMania XXIV. The two ladies then performed a Doomsday Device on James.

Beth Phoenix vs. Melina vs. Mickie James for the Women’s Title is next. An early botched spot with Phoenix and James will probably be edited out. Phoenix pins an already knocked-out Melina with the fisherman’s suplex.

Next up was a diva’s tag match with Torrie Wilson and Mickie James against Beth Phoenix and Victoria. Beth pinned Torrie after that double wing into a slam move that she used on Maria Monday night.
Beth Phoenix & Victoria defeated Torrie Wilson & Mickie James. Not much different than the divas match on ECW. Beth pinned Torrie after Victoria knocked Mickie to the floor.
Victoria and Beth Phoenix beat Mickie James and Torrie Wilson. Beth pinned Torrie, I’m pretty sure, but she used another move as opposed to her fisherman’s buster finisher.
I was just reading the Smackdown spoilers, and as you all know this Fridays show is the Kristal-Teddy Wedding, well according to the spoilers for the show, people from all three brands will be involved as guests for the event. So there is a chance Beth will be on Smackdown. Be sure to check back on Friday morning as we will have the results and captures if Beth does appear. Below i have posted spoilers for those who are interested in them, highlight below to read.
The wedding has started. Comedian Bruce Bruce is the Reverend. Vince McMahon, Arn Anderson and performers from all three brands are present as guests. Teddy dedicates “Let’s Get Married” by Jagged Edge to Kristal. Jillian Hall comes out and says that they were terrible and starts to sing. She is dragged off by several other Divas. They continue…but…
*The Godfather, accompanied by several Hos, comes out and stops the ceremony. Godfather got all the male guests, including JBL, to leave with him to “ride the Ho Train”. Hornswoggle crawls under Kristal’s dress and is chased to the back by Jonathan Coachman and Vince McMahon. The crowd is chanting, “We want wrestling.”
*Teddy and Kristal start to exchange vows. Long passes out while giving them and medics rush down. They carry Long out on a gurney.
