WWE Women’s champ Beth Phoenix (with Santino Marella) vs. Candice Michelle
The announcers noted that Marella must have somehow talked Phoenix in allowing him to come to ringside after she told him on Raw she needed to concentrate on her winning streak. Candice dropkicked Phoenix and promptly missed a legdrop. Ouch. That was grody. Michelle scored several near falls early. Michelle his an enziguiri, and shockingly, Michael Cole called the move. Michelle worked over Phoenix in the corner but was caught by Phoenix and driven backwards into the corner, while upside down.

Phoenix kicked Michelle in the same shoulder she injured. Michelle fought back but was run into the corner by Beth, so her strategy is to go after the bad shoulder. Phoenix followed up with a form of the cross arm breaker. Michelle was really vocal and making decent facials while selling. She fought her way to her feet trying to kick Phoenix off but was forced back down. Candice tried to surprise her with a series of forearms then hit a jawbreaker. Michelle hit several dropkicks and a spinning heel kick for a two count.

Candice went for a Russian leg sweep but Phoenix countered it into a STO variation. Phoenix went to the top but Michelle nailed her. Michelle nailed a dropkick, knocking Phoenix off and covered her. Marella pulled Phoenix out of the ring. Michelle nailed a dropkick out of the ring on Marella. Marella, selling the dropkick, caught his arm with Beth’s foot as she re-entered the ring. Phoenix turned her attention to him, allowing Candice to roll her up for a near fall.

Michelle went for the Unprettier but Phoenix turned it onto her face-first chickenwing slam and scored the pin.
Your winner and still WWE Women’s champ Beth Phoenix.

They teased after that Phoenix, with the look on her face, had mixed feelings about Santino being there.

Melina vs. Beth Phoenix in an I Quit match.
As Phoenix entered, they replayed her impressive backbreaker on Melina and Mickie James from Judgment Day. As Melina entered, one of the paparazzi photographers fell down on his rear end. Melina patted him on the back, then they replayed him falling down again. Phoenix backed up Melina against the ropes and trash talked her. Melina shoved her and kicked her, then put Phoenix in a guillotine choke. Phoenix lifted her up whoile in the hold, and Melina kneed her in the face. Melina went for a bodypress, but Phoenix caught it and hit a backbreaker, then a second, holding her over the knee. Melina kneed out of it, but Phoenix pushed her in a corner and hit some shots. Melina fired back, and drove Phoenix face first into the mat from the second rope. Melina applied a Mutalock, but Phoenix wouldn’t submit. She struggled her way to the ropes for a break, and they both fell to the floor. Melina tossed Phoenix back in, but Phoenix picked her up and threw her in a corner. Phoenix stomped her, then stretcher her between the ropes. Phoenix applied the over the shoulder backbreaker, and jumped up and down with it. Melina tried to elbow out of it, and Phoenix ended up slamming her down.

Phoenix applied an armbar, then threw Melina to the mat by her hair. Phoenix told the referee to ask her, but Melina refused to submit. Phoenix threw her down again by the hair, but Melina fought back with forearms. Phoenix went for a whip in the corner, and Melina tried a headscissors, but Beth caught it. She went to pull Melina away from the ropes by her legs, but Melina turned it into a victory roll that sent Phoenix between the ropes and into the ringpost, shoulder first. Melina twisted Phoenix’ now injured arm in the ropes and yanked on it. Melina hit a cross armbreaker, then did a tilt-a-whirl into a Fujiwara armbar, then transitioned into a jujigatame. Phoenix stood up and lifted Melina while in the hold, and powerbombed her to the mat. Phoenix hit a facebuster, then applied a surfboard variation, that was sort of like a double chicken wing with the legs trapped on the mat. Phoenix then hooked Melina’s chin as well, and bent her backwards to the point that Melina’s head was touching the bottom of her feet. Melina finally submitted at the fourteen minute mark.
Winner: Beth Phoenix.

Women’s Champion Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Melina.
As Phoenix came to the ring, they recapped how she beat the crap out of Melina backstage last week. Melina did her usual entrance, but was glaring at Beth Phoenix the whole time. At the bell, Beth held open the ropes and told Melina she didn’t belong in “her ring”. Melina responded by kicking Phoenix out of the ring. Mickie rolled up Melina for a two count. Mickie bounced off the ropes, but Phoenix held them open and mickie fell to the floor. Phoenix nailed her with a lariat. In the ring, Melina hit Phoenix with right hands, and Phoenix lifted her up, but Melina kept punching her down. Phoenix kicked Melina and went to lift her up, but Mickie hooked her from behind for a sunset flip for two. They went into sequences where one wrestler would get an advantage over another, but the third would come in and break up a cover or hold. Mickie hit Phoenix with a top rope Thesz press, then a dropkick for a two count. Melina grabbed her and stretched Mickie over the top rope in a corner, but Phoenix went over and lifted Melina and Mickie James into an over the shoulder backbreaker. Playboy Bunnymania Lumberjack Match: Maria & Ashley vs. Beth Phoenix & Melina.
The other Divas, dressed in street clothes, came out on the stage. Snoop Dogg came out and drove a pimped out golf cart to the ring with the Divas following him on foot (or, in Cherry’s case, on skates). Wow, you’d be surprised how many Divas can’t dance. I mean, Victoria is supposed to be awkward, what is up with the others? Snoop got on the mic and lead the crowd in some “Whoo’s” in honor of Ric Flair. Maria and Ashley were introduced first. Maria looks like she belongs in a Sci-Fi movie with funky hair, makeup and outfit. They grinded up against Snoop after entering the ring. Santino Marella led in Melina and Beth Phoenix. Melina had giant fans, like a old-style fan dancer. There were giant inflatable Playboy Bunny logos on the stage. Ashley started off with Phoenix, then tagged in Maria for a double hiptoss. Melina tagged in and Maria tossed her to the floor. Melina was shoved back in and Maria hit a reverse splash in the corner. Maria gave Melina a Bronco Buster. Maria pulled Melina out of the corner for a two count. Ashley tagged in and did a headscissors and a clothesline. Ashley, very slowly, set up and hit a facebuster. Melina shoved Ashley into a punch by Phoenix. Ashley was thrown to the floor and the heel Divas beat her up and tossed her in. Phoenix tagged in and Melina catapulted Ashley into a bearhug by Phoenix. Melina tagged back in and Phoenix tossed Melina into a moonsault onto Ashley. Maria broke up the pin. Maria got a tag as Beth Phoenix tagged in. The lights went out in the stadium. They got spotlights on the ring, and Maria was going at it with Phoenix. Maria hit Phoenix with a bulldog. There was a brawl at ringside, and Maria was left along with Phoenix in the ring. Maria had a cover, but Santino reached in to break it up. Jerry Lawler went over and decked Santino with a right hand. In the ring, Phoenix hit Maria with a fisherman’s buster to get the pin at the five minute mark.
Winners: Beth Phoenix & Melina.

Post-match, Santino stood over Maria, but Snoop came in and nailed Santino with a clothesline. Snoop then started making out with Maria in the ring, to the dismay of Santino.

Lilian Garcia announced the next match would be for the WWE Women’s championship. Jillian Hall came out. She plugged the itunes album. She said she was going to sing one of her favorite songs off the album right now. It was a terrible rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” She was thankfully cut off by Mickie James’ theme music.

WWE Women’s champion Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James

They locked up with Phoenix overpowering James early. James went for the bulldog off the ropes but was shoved off. James tried to whip Phoenix but was stopped and Beth nailed her arm. James went for her headscissors out of the corner but was caught and powerbombed. Phoenix got a two count.

They have the 10-divas tag match up next. So much for the idea of a buffer match. Ross and Lawler then introduced themselves. Beth Phoenix came out for the match. Apparently the heels are representing the Heat, as they’re all dressed in red and black. Melina had too much to drink or something, as she stumbled out on the entrance ramp, then botched her ring entrance on the apron. So, she went back and did it a second time. The babyface team was led out by Torrie Wilson, then Michelle McCool in a Heat jersey. Kelly Kelly in a football jersey. Maria came out in a blue top. Mickie James in a black and white number. Just for the record.

BETH PHOENIX & LEYLA & JILLIAN HALL & VICTORIA & MELINA vs. TORRIE WILSON & MICHELLE McCOOL & KELLY KELLY & MARIA & MICKIE JAMES

Jillian did the plastic bounce on Kelly by placing Kelly’s head in her chest. She then went for a handspring elbow in the corner, but Kelly kicked her away and scored a nearfall with a bridge pin. Beth came in and got the action back on track with a swinging slam on Maria. Melina tagged in and missed a splash against the ropes. Mickie, who got a strong reaction, took a tag and cleaned house. The babyfaces then knocked Beth off the apron. Back in the ring, Mickie gave Melina the kiss of death before attempting a spin kick to the head that caught more air than face. She made the cover for the win.

Winner: Mickie’s team in 5:00.

A video package on the Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle feud was shown.

Women’s Champion Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix.

Jim Ross noted that Beth Phoenix was the strongest female competitor in WWE since Bull Nakano. They locked up at the bell, and Phoenix shoved Candice to the mat. Candice jumped onto her for a headlock, but Phoenix tossed her to the mat. Candice tried a waistlock, but Phoenix powered out and started working on Candice’s arm, doing the old Davey Boy Smith wristlock lift. Candice slid to the apron to avoid Phoenix and hit a kick, then hit a top rope armdrag. Candice went for a headscissors, but Phoenix turned it into a backbreaker. Phoenix hit a kick to the back, then rammed her into the corner. Phoenix whipped Candice into a corner, then rammed her face first into the mat. Phoenix drove her elbow into Candice’s back. Candice got a two count, then applied a double arm chicken wing, ala 1989 Ricky Steamboat. Phoenix threw Candice to the mat for a two count, then applied a chinlock. Phoenix applied a surfboard.

Phoenix threw Candice in the corner and hit a forearm to the back, then two to the chest. Candice applied a bodyscissors in the corner, then a headscissors and kicked Phoenix in the head. Phoenix stopped her rally with an elbow, then sent Candice to the mat by snapping her off the ropes. Phoenix put Candice in an over-the-shoulder backbreaker, circa 1980’s Big John Studd. Yes, I have been watching a lot of old wrestling lately. Candice struggled, then managed to elbow out of the hold. Candice hit some forearms and a weak dropkick, then delivered a clothesline. Candice leapfrogged Phoenix in a corner and yanked her to the mat by the hair. Candice charged Phoenix, who scooped her up and rammed her hard into a corner. Beth Phenix then did a full extension Gorilla Press and dropped Candice to the mat. Phoenix scored a two count. Phoenix then went for another slam, but Candice floated over and grabbed a crucifix for a three count at the eight minute mark.

Winner: Candice Michelle.

Candice went right to the floor, while Phoenix just boiled with anger in the ring. They showed strands of Candice’s hair on the mat.
