Name: Elisabeth Carolan Birthday: November 24th 1980 Years pro: 6 years Mini-bio: Beth always wanted to be a pro-wrestler, her for the sport led her to join her high school wrestling team, she became the first female varsity wrestler in her school's history. During college she continued wrestling, until she began training with the All Knighters. She later made her pro-wrestling debut in 2000 taking on Alexis Laree. Beth wrestled throughout America and Canada, and in 2003 relocated to Louisville (OVW). In October 2005 Beth received a WWE developmental contract. In May 2006 Beth debuted on WWE Raw attacking Mickie James, but just 5 weeks later, Beth broke her jaw during a match with Victoria. After over a year of waiting in OVW, Beth finally returned to Raw on July 9th 2007, teaming with Melina and Jillian. At Summerslam 2007 Beth earned a title shot against Candice Michelle, and despite a loss at Unforgiven, beth defeated Candice for the title at No Mercy.

It was the first time in WWE history that Divas competed in an “I Quit” Match, a contest that is decided when one of the Superstars makes her opponent say “I quit”. Both Divas knew full well that such a hard fought contest could only be won by the woman who wanted it more.

Mickie James defeated Beth Phoenix and retained the WWE Women’s Championship. Both ladies are pretty in person. First Beth came out and I started a “Shimmer” chant, but obviously nobody knew what I meant. When the match was about to start Mickie bent over a bit and all the guys at ringside behind her started to scream excitedly, so she laughed and went the other side (my side) and did the same thing. Unfortunately for her, the pervert shouts were louder and she laughed again. Back to the wrestling, it was a very solid match which Mickie won with the Mick Kick.
Women’s Champion Mickie James beat The Glamazon Beth Phoenix
When Tony announced the match for the women’s championship the crowd went nuts, then announced the special guest referee for the match… SANTINO MARELLA to big heat, Santino cut a short promo, he said he would speak English because we can’t understand Italian, and then the heat was so much, i didn’t understand a word. First entered Beth Phoenix to a mixed (but big) reaction, then Mickie to a huge pop (less than Rey and Batista), Santino played some of his antics before the match the girls just played the comedy, then the match started and the crowd died. Great match, but the crowd didn’t care, just some pops for the best of the arsenal of both girls (the double chicken-wings, the super Thesz press), Mickie won with a Tornado DDT, Santino took years to make the three count. Big pop for Mickie’s victory after they didn’t care in her match.
Match Four:
Beth Phoenix vs. Melina. I was happy to see these two go at it again as I am fans I guess of these two. Melina took a lot of beating before hitting some elbows and then getting knocked down again. Long squash match basically with the Glamazon winning by submission with the Glam Slam.
7)WWE Women’s Championship: Mickie James(c) vs Beth Phoenix
Maria was once again in the crowd and gave this little girl an opportunity to be the Manager/Valet for the Winner of the next match. Beth Phoenix came out to mild Heat reaction and there was points in this match where people said “Buffalo”. Mickie James came out to a great reaction and she did indeed looked hot as ever.
In the beginning of the match where the Ref checks each opponent for weapons, Mickie James places her legs on the ropes which got a great arouse from the crowd. Hands down this was one of the Best matches of the Night because they actually gave it some time and both were allowed to give it all they had. Beth Phoenix goes for her Fisherman’s Suplex, but Mickie James counters it to a Implant DDT for the victory. Also to mention, Both Mickie and Beth had various “Butt Crack” moments as well. Mickie James celebrates with the lucky fan and takes her to the back to get more acquainted, I guess? Winner: Mickie James to retain Championship
Nothing else of note, but the Women’s title, Intercontinental, and WWE championship matches were my favorite as well as the crowds favorites.
Then Mickie James defeated Beth Phoenix to retain the WWE women championship, it was a good match, the people love the champion and after the match Phoenix received a strong ovation because of the good fight she gave against James.
