Since it was my first time going to the OVW show, I didn’t know what time we should get there, etc. I went there with my friends, Amanda and Amy. I knew from the moment we were going, I wanted to meet Beth Phoenix. She’s always been a favorite of mine. We got there around 5 or so, and the doors were going to open at 6:30. We missed a lot of people, so we didn’t get to meet any. The doors opened and we went inside waiting for the show to start, which was at 7:30.

After a few matches, next was Divas match. I had my Beth Phoenix poster up hoping she would come out. I smiled so big when I saw her walking around and held my poster hoping she would see it. Thankfully she did and she pointed at me. I got so excited and had my hand out, she held it and squeezed. Since she was a heel, she couldn’t do much like high-five me. That was all she could do and it was greatly appreciated. The match turned out great.

After the show, my friends and I stood outside hoping we would get to meet some. Meeting like 2, I turned around and there was Beth Phoenix! I got so excited. I went to get my poster, so she would know I was the one with the poster during the show. She came over and talked to me. I told her I couldn’t hear. She smiled and said ok. I did have a note for her though and gave it to her. She read it and was like, ‘Awww, of course,’ because at the end of the note, I asked if I could have a hug. She gave me one and then took a picture together. She also signed a few things for me.

Since it was getting late, she had to go. We hugged one more thing and then waved good-bye… not knowing we’d get to meet again next month.
