Name: Elisabeth Carolan Birthday: November 24th 1980 Years pro: 6 years Mini-bio: Beth always wanted to be a pro-wrestler, her for the sport led her to join her high school wrestling team, she became the first female varsity wrestler in her school's history. During college she continued wrestling, until she began training with the All Knighters. She later made her pro-wrestling debut in 2000 taking on Alexis Laree. Beth wrestled throughout America and Canada, and in 2003 relocated to Louisville (OVW). In October 2005 Beth received a WWE developmental contract. In May 2006 Beth debuted on WWE Raw attacking Mickie James, but just 5 weeks later, Beth broke her jaw during a match with Victoria. After over a year of waiting in OVW, Beth finally returned to Raw on July 9th 2007, teaming with Melina and Jillian. At Summerslam 2007 Beth earned a title shot against Candice Michelle, and despite a loss at Unforgiven, beth defeated Candice for the title at No Mercy.

In a display of dominance, Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix defeated Candice Michelle with a Glam Slam to retain her gold. Ever since The Glamazon captured the title from Mickie James at SummerSlam, she has dominated both her opponents and the opponents of her boyfriend, Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella.
Tonight, Marella intervened, preventing a potential pinfall. But, he paid for it with a hard-hitting kick from Candice. Although Marella’s help allowed Phoenix to escape the near pinfall, it proved to be a distraction to The Glamazon. But, not for long. As the match continued, The Glamazon mounted an offense that Candice could not stop.

WrestleMania arrives early for Houston kids

Houston teens got the chance of a lifetime to participate in a “Trivia SmackDown” with Beth Phoenix and Super Crazy this past weekend and win tickets to WrestleMania XXV at Reliant Stadium on April 5. It was all part of the Houston Public Library’s Back-to-School Bash at the downtown Central Library. Presented by Wells Fargo, the inaugural event also included family entertainment on several floors of the newly renovated library.
Houston Chronicle columnist and wrestling aficionado Ken Hoffman was the guest referee. The four winners from the trivia contest received a Wells Fargo and WWE gift pack, along with two tickets to WrestleMania XXV. After the event, The Glamazon and Super Crazy signed copies of the new WWE Kids magazine for the hundreds in attendance. The Back-to-School Bash was held to celebrate the end of summer and the successful Houston Public Library Summer Reading Program. The Houston Public Library will host the national WrestleMania Reading Challenge Finals next year on Aug. 4. The WrestleMania Reading Challenge will kick-off during national Teen Read Week, October 12-18, and is open to students in grades 5 through 12.
Angela comes out and announces intermission and says that next week, Edge, Beth Phoenix, and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk will be at FCW.
At last weeks FCW tv taping Angela Fong, one of FCW’s diva’s announced that Beth Phoenix will be apart of next weeks TV tapings along with CM Punk and Edge.
Beth will be at the August 7th 2008 TV taping. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. For children (10 and under) tickets are $5. Tickets will be available at the door at 5 p.m. every Thursday.
