◊ Beth Phoenix Section Beth attended Notre Dame High School in Elmira, New York. Beth was the first female varsity wrestler in her high school history. Beth continued amateur wrestling and became the North-East champion in 1999. She was also named most outstanding wrestler the same year. Beth is actually a member of USA Wrestling. Beth attended Canisius College in Buffalo. Beth was trained by the All Knighters (who were trained in the Legandary Hart Dungeon). Beth turned professional in 2000. Beth was the first female winner of a 14 man over the top battle royal in AWF (2002). Beth was the first female wrestler on the FNW (Far North Wrestling) roster! Beth won the FNW cruiserwight title November 16th 2003 defeating Joey Knight and Kevin Grace. Beth relocated to Louisville to work with OVW in 2003 in hopes of gaining a WWE developmental deal. She worked with Brent Albright (as his “cousin”) and Chris Masters (as his “girlfriend”) before joining with Aaron Stevens. Beth was eventually offered a WWE developmental deal after drastically changing her look. She signed the developmental deal on October 20th 2005. Aaron Stevens, Beth and Shelly Martinez worked a Smackdown tour in 2005, Aaron faced off against The Boogyman, Scotty 2 Hotty and Orlando Jordan. The trio also worked a Raw houseshow in Louisville, Aaron successfully defended his TV title against Brent Albright. Beth has previously stated if Beth wasn’t in pro-wrestling, she would want to pursue amateur wrestling at Olympic level. When she’s not wrestling beth likes to Work Out, power lift, Paint and Draw. Beth’s favorite food is Sushi. Beth’s favorite movie is Vision Quest. One of Beth’s favorite moves is the “Double DVD” she has two opponents stacked on her shoulders, impressive? She’s well known to have done the move with two males, now that’s strength! Beth made her WWE Debut May 8th 2006 attacking Mickie James Just five weeks later she had her first singles match on Raw against Victoria and broke her Jaw. Beth didn’t return to WWE action until July 9th 2007 During the year while Beth was away from WWE television, she returned to OVW and won the OVW Womens title In OVW, along with Katie Lea, Beth took part in the first ever ladies ladder match. Beth debuted her “Glamazon” Character originally in OVW when she returned from her Jaw injury. Beth defeated Candice Michelle at No Mercy to win the WWE women’s championship. Interestingly exactly one year earlier from her winning the WWE Women’s title, Beth won the OVW women’s championship. Forward « Reload » Back
