In her newest edition of Confessions of a queen, Katie Lea mentioned once again made mention of Beth and her current storyline in OVW, you can read what she had to say below:

By the way, the Beth Phoenix / Jacob Duncan saga continues to puzzle me. The only explanation I can find is that Frankenstein can’t see very well through that mask of his… How else would he be so hung up about the Glamazon? I mean, she is beautiful and everything- but she’s not charming, sophisticated and inherently fascinating like I am… So, yeah, we understand the Man from the Woods likes her, but what’s the Big Deal..? And as for Daniel Rodman- well, he’s just another one of those guys who’ll take what he can get. He clearly saw an opening and decided to jump right in there like the opportunist bastich he is…. Poor Beth will soon find out that she’s just another little adventure to him, just another notch in his belt. I’ve met plenty of guys like him and know what he’s like. I’m sure none of you morons will be surprised to hear that he has tentatively approached me before… Of course he ended up having to back off when he realized I was too smart for him- and completely out of his league. The Roedlheimer would never dare try anything with me now; he fears the inevitable throat chop.
