Katie Lea & Sh’-Nay-Nay defeated Beth Phoenix & ODB. Phoenix came out sporting her version of the OVW Women’s title (an old yellow IC replica with a black patch over the face declaring “The Best Beth Phoenix”). Katie Lea came out yelling that it was her show and she was the true champ. Something needs to be addressed in the booking soon, because with Kenny Bolin constantly backing Katie Lea and her actions she’s coming off like a heel, and no matter what they do with Beth she is cheered. Yet currently they seem to be booked opposite of those things. I think this also hurt the match as the crowd wasnt sure who to get behind. Sh’-Nay-Nay (whom is the tiny girl from the Corydon report last week) opened the match by chest bumping ODB down then applying a rear naked choke onto Beth. Beth missed two splashed on Sh’-Nay-Nay but was able to move out of the way of the young face’s flying cross body. Beth then took the boots to the young girl and the heels focused their assault on her ribs. Sh’Nay-Nay manages to work her way out of an abdominal stretch though for the hot tag which lead to all four in the ring. As the finish came it appeared some people were out of place as Beth and ODB scrambled to get across the ring for Sh’Nay-Nay’s flaying cross body. Sh’Nay-Nay sensed they werent going to make it in time though hit a running cross-body instead pinning both heels. Katie Lea then got on the mic putting over Sh’Nay-Nay’s work stating it would be an honor to defend the title against her at St Therese tonight. Beth came out to dispute this and then laid them both out with her belt to a pop.
