In tonight’s second installment of the “Spanish Version” of OVW, Armandro’s delighted, of course, to have Beth Phoenix as his guest.
Our host softens Beth up with descriptions such as “beautiful”, “voluptuous”, going from charming to lecherous (and remember to “Vote for Lalo”.) Beth then coolly describes how she’s looking forward to her upcoming *wrestling* match w/Shelly to reprise and parallel her dominant role in their private relations.
However, the confident demeanor of the the indomitable ice queen of OVW starts melting away after Armandro informs her of some news: the match between her and Shelly will be a no-holds-barred, no-DQ fight, not a “wrestling” match!
After the news has soaked in, Beth departs for the door and Armandro is eagerly anticipating a “Catfight! Catfight! Rrowwr! Rworr!” as struts down the hall on his way to the front row of ringside.

SHELLY VS. BETH PHOENIX
As Beth sullenly walks to the ring, Shelly runs out and flattens her from behind for the first strike - and the fans respond with “Shel-ly!” chants! Tossing Beth into the ring, Shelly pounds her with fisticuffs then slams her head repeatedly into the ring floor. The assault continues on a vertical plane in the corner as Shelly pounds Beth (and her head) into the turnbuckle, with a maniacal grimace on her face - kinda brings to mind Batman’s Joker - yyaaaaa!
When Shelly backs off, Beth gets in a boot to the gut, but makes the mistake of gloating a tad too long, anyway. Shelly’s back up with an apparently VERY painful headbut to the nether regions, followed by a huge clothesline. Then with Beth again flat on her back, she gets some hard slaps to the gut and licking her hands, Shelly then slaps Beth right on the breasts and out she rolls clutching her implan- er, breasts in pain and horror! Trying to get some distance between them, Beth runs off but the fisticuffs fly both ways this time when Shelly catches up to her.
Beth finally gets a definitive advantage when the fight spills near the “girlfriend” and she she grabs flower bouquet and repeatedly whacks Shelly with it!
Trying to recover at least some of the flowers, the girl falls over the guard railing and referee Brisko is there to protect her. But Beth is having none of it as she manhandles Brisko off the girl then slaps her around before DDT’ing her! Then Shelly’s whacks Beth’s back with a steel chair and the action moves back into the ring.
But more action fires up outside the ring as first The Miz comes out to check on the girl, followed by Seth Skyfire in confrontation and they begin slugging it out. Inside, Beth prevents another chair shot; Shelly turns a Beth Valley Driver into a DDT, but neither women can capitalize.
Suddenly The Aaron “The Idol” Stevens runs in and grabs the chair, then quickly slides outside and brutally clobbers Skyfire on the back of the head! The Miz is right up in his face and Idol begs off and backs away, only luring Miz into a trap and a huge chair shot of his own! It’s a war zone on the outside with bodies and smashed flowers lying everywhere as Idol cockily strides away through the ruins!
Back in the ring, Beth recovers enough ahead of Shelly to this time successfully put her away with a Beth Valley Driver for the 1-2-3 pinfall win. But not even her victory can for long mask the pain she sustained as she leaves the ring.

Backstage, we’re told that this program is about to experience “a major surge in star power” thanks to none other than The Idol, so he says. He stops his self-promotional spiel as Beth walks past him, then talks about his “easy” job of taking the OVW TV Title tonight as paramedics are still attending to The Miz and Skyfire. Suddenly, it’s decision time: does he go into the room where an unconscious Shelly is also being receiving medical attention, or go into a different room where Beth is still alive AND looking good. Turning on the charm, he goes into Beth’s dressing room and tries making up with her, and at first she seems to be buying it. But her resounding slap and the resultant, audible cry of pain from The Idol tells the real scoop! He’s left alone in stunned disbelief until he’s told it’s time for his match, which promptly snaps him out of “idle” and back into “Idol”.
